The South Umpqua Lancers (Myrtle Creek, OR) basketball crushed the visiting Douglas Trojans (Winston, OR), 44-20 in Friday's league bout.
The Lancers now possess a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Coquille for a 3A Far West bout on Tuesday, February 4. South Umpqua will play a Red Devils team coming off a 38-28 league win over Sutherlin (Sutherlin, OR). The Red Devils record now stands at 16-1.
With the loss, Douglas falls to 2-17 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Siuslaw (Florence, OR) to play the Vikings in a 3A Far West bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 1-18. Siuslaw lost 39-22 in their recent league bout against Glide (Glide, OR)
