With the victory, Southwest DeKalb advances its record to 15-8 on the year. The Panthers host Lithonia (Lithonia, GA) to face the Bulldogs in a AAAA Region 5 match on Tuesday, February 4. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 12-9. Lithonia lost 36-28 in their recent non-league match against Drew Charter (Atlanta, GA)

The Red Devils now own a 0-18 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Pius X Catholic for a AAAA Region 5 match on Tuesday, February 4. Druid Hills will face a Golden Lions squad coming off a 51-45 non-league loss to Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA). The Golden Lions record now stands at 14-9.
