In Friday's league contest, the host East Paulding Raiders basketball team scored a big 59-15 win over the Lithia Springs Lions.
The Raiders (10-12) will now prepare for their contest against Kennesaw Mountain (Kennesaw, GA). The Mustangs come into the AAAAA Region 5 contest with a 5-19 record. In their last contest, Kennesaw Mountain was trounced by South Paulding (Douglasville, GA), 51-49, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Alexander Cougars (Douglasville, GA) in a AAAAA Region 5 contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Lithia Springs will attempt to better on its 2-19 season record. The Cougars come into the contest with a 15-8 record after their 54-27 league win over Kennesaw Mountain (Kennesaw, GA).
