The Seguin Matadors basketball team scored 39 points and limited the host Edison Golden Bears to 30 in the Matadors league triumph on Friday.

The Matadors now possess a 15-19 record. They play next when they host Highlands for a 5A Region IV District 27 game on Tuesday, February 4. Seguin will confront a Owls team coming off a 47-26 league win over Jefferson (San Antonio, TX). The Owls record now stands at 17-17.

With the loss, Edison falls to 6-25 on the campaign.
