The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the El Reno Indians (El Reno, OK) and the host Guymon Tigers (Guymon, OK), observed El Reno's basketball team knock off Guymon by a score of 32-16.

The Indians (15-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Southeast (Oklahoma City, OK). The Spartans come into the 5A District 1 challenge with a 7-10 record. In their last challenge, Southeast dropped by Elgin (Elgin, OK), 67-23, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Elgin Owls (Elgin, OK) in a 5A District 1 challenge, on Saturday, February 1. Guymon will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The Owls come into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 48-34 non-league loss to Enid (Enid, OK).
