In Friday's league contest, the visiting Eula Pirates basketball team scored a big 89-13 win over the Ranger Bulldogs.

The Pirates (30-2) will now prepare for their contest against Strawn (Strawn, TX). The Greyhounds come into the 1A Region II District 13 contest with a 15-10 record. In their last contest, Strawn was trounced by Gordon (Gordon, TX), 46-31, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Gordon Longhorns (Gordon, TX) in a 1A Region II District 13 contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Ranger will attempt to better on its 5-17 season record. The Longhorns go into the bout with a 21-11 record after their 52-26 league win over Baird (Baird, TX).
