In Friday's league contest, the host Ozona Lions basketball team scored a big 66-30 triumph over the Forsan Buffaloes.

The Lions (25-7) will now prepare for their contest against Hermleigh (Hermleigh, TX). The Cardinals go into the non-league contest with a 29-4 record. In their last contest, Hermleigh smashed Highland (Roscoe, TX), 49-17, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Buffaloes battle the Sterling City Eagles (Sterling City, TX) in a 2A Region I District 7 contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Forsan will attempt to better on its 11-10 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 14-12 record after their 41-29 league loss to Eldorado (Eldorado, TX).
