The Fort Defiance Indians basketball squad (Fort Defiance, VA), was outscored 55-41 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Staunton Storm (Staunton, VA)
With the victory, Staunton advances its record to 5-10 on the year. The Storm travel to Broadway (Broadway, VA) to meet the Gobblers in a non-league battle on Monday, February 3. The Gobblers enter the battle with a record of 12-4. Broadway won 57-31 in their recent league battle against William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA)
The Indians now own a 2-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buffalo Gap for a Shenandoah battle on Tuesday, February 4. Fort Defiance will meet a Bison squad coming off a 48-46 non-league win over Alleghany (Covington, VA). The Bison record now stands at 12-3.
