The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Ursuline Academy Bears (St. Louis, MO) and the visiting Fort Zumwalt West Jaguars (O'Fallon, MO), observed Ursuline Academy's basketball team knock off Fort Zumwalt West by a score of 56-43.

The Bears (14-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Visitation Academy (St. Louis, MO). The Vivettes come into the Girls Independent challenge with a 4-13 record. In their last challenge, Visitation Academy was knocked off by Villa Duchesne (St. Louis, MO), 52-44, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Jaguars encounter the Liberty Eagles (Lake St. Louis, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Fort Zumwalt West will attempt to improve on its 11-4 season record.
