In Friday's league contest, the visiting Glen Rose Beavers basketball team scored a big 50-22 triumph over the Jessieville Lions.

The Beavers (10-11) will now prepare for their contest against Perryville (Perryville, AR). The Mustangs go into the 3A Region 5 contest with a 9-11 record. In their last contest, Perryville smashed Two Rivers (Ola, AR), 66-16, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Atkins Red Devils (Atkins, AR) in a 3A Region 5 contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Jessieville will attempt to better on its 4-17 season record. The Red Devils go into the contest with a 9-10 record after their 51-36 league win over Harmony Grove (Benton, AR).
