The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Mountain City Christian Academy Lions (Anchorage, AK) and the visiting Grace Christian Grizzlies (Anchorage, AK), observed Mountain City Christian Academy's basketball team overcome Grace Christian by a score of 57-47.
The Lions (9-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Colony (Palmer, AK). The Knights come into the 4A Northern Lights challenge with a 9-3 record. In their last challenge, Colony defeated Soldotna (Soldotna, AK), 76-25, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Grizzlies battle the Nikiski Bulldogs (Nikiski, AK) in a 3A Peninsula challenge, on Saturday, February 1. Grace Christian will attempt to improve on its 9-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 56-16 non-league win over Hutchison (Fairbanks, AK).
