The Haywood Christian Academy Red Wolves nipped the visiting Lake Lure Classical Academy Raptors basketball squad by a final score of 51-46 in Friday's non-league outing.
Next, the Red Wolves face the Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy Eagles (Asheville, NC) in a Western Piedmont outing, on Monday, February 3. Haywood Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Eagles enter the outing with a 1-1 record after their 60-26 league win over Mountain View Christian Academy (Cowpens, SC).
The Raptors (5-12) will now prepare for their outing against Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy (Mooresboro, NC). The Gryphons enter the non-league outing with a 13-6 record. In their last outing, Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy got by East Gaston (Mt. Holly, NC), 47-3, in a league outing.
