In their next game, the Hornets encounter the Locust Grove Pirates (Locust Grove, OK) in a Verdigris Valley challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Hilldale will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 16-1 record after their 41-34 league win over Fort Gibson (Fort Gibson, OK).
