North Carolina High School Basketball - West Mecklenburg trounced by Hough

The West Mecklenburg Hawks basketball squad (Charlotte, NC), was crushed 74-22 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC)

With the victory, Hough advances its record to 15-5 on the year. The Huskies host West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC) to meet the Lions in a 3A/4A Queen City battle on Tuesday, February 4. The Lions enter the battle with a record of 13-5. West Charlotte won 64-21 in their recent league battle against Hopewell (Huntersville, NC)

The Hawks now own a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Spartanburg for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 1. West Mecklenburg will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 55-41 league win over Eastside (Taylors, SC). The Vikings record now stands at 10-10.
