The Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA) basketball toppled the host LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA), 42-31 in Friday's league bout.

The Knights now possess a 8-11 record. They play next when they travel to Lamar County for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 1. Upson-Lee will play a Trojans team coming off a 65-42 league win over Jasper County (Monticello, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 17-4.

With the loss, LaGrange falls to 5-16 on the campaign. The Grangers host Spalding (Griffin, GA) to play the Jaguars in a AAA Region 2 bout on Monday, February 3. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 2-19. Spalding lost 46-44 in their recent league bout against Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA)
