Illinois High School Basketball - Lake Zurich knocks off Lake Forest

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Lake Zurich Bears basketball team scored a good 39-31 win over the Lake Forest Scouts.

The Bears (18-7) will now prepare for their contest against Barrington (Barrington, IL). The Fillies/Broncos come into the non-league contest with a 12-14 record. In their last contest, Barrington was topped by Fremd (Palatine, IL), 74-38, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Scouts battle the Stevenson Patriots (Lincolnshire, IL) in a North Suburban contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Lake Forest will attempt to better on its 9-15 season record. The Patriots come into the contest with a 16-10 record after their 56-41 league win over Waukegan (Waukegan, IL).
