South Carolina High School Basketball - Laurens sneaks past Wren

January 31, 2025: Laurens, SC 29360

The Laurens Raiders (Laurens, SC) basketball edged the visiting Wren Hurricanes (Piedmont, SC), 50-47 in Friday's league bout.

The Raiders now possess a 10-11 record. They play next when they host Clinton for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 1. Laurens will play a Red Devils team coming off a 40-23 league win over Fairfield Central (Winnsboro, SC). The Red Devils record now stands at 14-4.

With the loss, Wren falls to 14-7 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Southside (Greenville, SC) to play the Tigers in a AAAA Region 1 bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 8-8. Southside won 38-29 in their recent league bout against Emerald (Greenwood, SC)
