The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Louisiana School for the Deaf War Eagles (Baton Rouge, LA) and the visiting Tennessee School for the Deaf Vikings (Knoxville, TN), observed Louisiana School for the Deaf's basketball team overwhelm Tennessee School for the Deaf by a score of 47-11.
The War Eagles (4-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Florida School for the Deaf & Blind (St. Augustine, FL). The Dragons come into the non-league challenge with a 14-3 record.
In their next game, the Vikings encounter the Kentucky School for the Deaf Colonels (Danville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 1. Tennessee School for the Deaf will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Colonels come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 55-9 non-league loss to Alabama School for the Deaf (Talladega, AL).
