North Carolina High School Basketball - North Mecklenburg victorious over Mallard Creek

In Friday's league contest, the visiting North Mecklenburg Vikings basketball team scored a good 47-35 triumph over the Mallard Creek Mavericks.

The Vikings (17-2) will now prepare for their contest against West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Hawks go into the 3A/4A Queen City contest with a 3-13 record. In their last contest, West Mecklenburg was topped by Spartanburg (Spartanburg, SC), 64-22, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Mavericks confront the Harding University Rams (Charlotte, NC) in a 3A/4A Queen City contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Mallard Creek will attempt to better on its 17-3 season record. The Rams go into the contest with a 3-10 record after their 40-39 league win over Chambers (Charlotte, NC).
