Texas High School Basketball - Taylor thwarts Marble Falls

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Taylor Ducks (Taylor, TX) and the visiting Marble Falls Mustangs (Marble Falls, TX), observed Taylor's basketball team knock off Marble Falls by a score of 43-26.

The Ducks (12-18) will now prepare for their challenge against Salado (Salado, TX). The Eagles come into the 4A Region III District 24 challenge with a 18-14 record. In their last challenge, Salado prevailed over Lampasas (Lampasas, TX), 63-31, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Jarrell Cougars (Jarrell, TX) in a 4A Region III District 24 challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Marble Falls will attempt to improve on its 7-25 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 27-6 record after their 62-50 league win over Burnet (Burnet, TX).
