With the victory, Martin County advances its record to 11-6 on the year. The Gators travel to Currituck County (Barco, NC) to meet the Knights in a non-league battle on Saturday, February 1. The Knights enter the battle with a record of 13-4. Currituck County won 58-53 in their recent league battle against First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC)
The Vikings now own a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bertie for a 1A/2A Four Rivers battle on Tuesday, February 4. Tarboro will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 60-20 non-league loss to Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 3-14.
