Georgia High School Basketball - McEachern bests South Cobb

January 31, 2025: Austell, GA 30106

The McEachern Indians (Powder Springs, GA) basketball toppled the host South Cobb Eagles (Austell, GA), 50-31 in Friday's league bout.

The Indians now possess a 10-13 record. They play next when they travel to Osborne for a AAAAAA Region 3 bout on Tuesday, February 4. McEachern will play a Cardinals team coming off a 61-16 league loss to Harrison (Kennesaw, GA). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-17.

With the loss, South Cobb falls to 4-14 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Hillgrove (Powder Springs, GA) to play the Hawks in a AAAAAA Region 3 bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 16-7. Hillgrove won 69-44 in their recent league bout against Paulding County (Dallas, GA)
