In Friday's league contest, the visiting Sibley East Wolverines basketball team scored a good 47-37 triumph over the Minnesota Valley Lutheran Chargers.

The Wolverines (8-12) will now prepare for their contest against Waseca (Waseca, MN). The Bluejays go into the AA Section 2 contest with a 5-18 record. In their last contest, Waseca was topped by Marshall (Marshall, MN), 71-19, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Chargers battle the Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] Titans (Montgomery, MN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Minnesota Valley Lutheran will attempt to better on its 12-9 season record. The Titans go into the contest with a 14-5 record after their 76-47 league win over Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial (Lake Crystal, MN).
