New York High School Basketball - Palmyra-Macedon thwarts Penn Yan Academy

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Palmyra-Macedon Red Raiders (Palmyra, NY) and the visiting Penn Yan Academy Mustangs (Penn Yan, NY), observed Palmyra-Macedon's basketball team knock off Penn Yan Academy by a score of 44-36.
The Red Raiders (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Mynderse Academy (Seneca Falls, NY). The Blue Devils come into the Section 5 Finger Lakes - East challenge with a 5-6 record.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Waterloo Tigers (Waterloo, NY) in a Section 5 Finger Lakes - East challenge, on Wednesday, February 5. Penn Yan Academy will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record.
