Nevada High School Basketball - Smith Valley nips Sage Ridge

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Smith Valley Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 42-41 win over the Sage Ridge Scorpions.
The Bulldogs (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Virginia City (Virginia City, NV). The Muckers come into the 1A West contest with a 14-8 record. In their last contest, Virginia City was tipped by Portola (Portola, CA), 63-44, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Scorpions battle the Pyramid Lake Lakers (Nixon, NV) in a 1A West contest, on Saturday, February 1. Sage Ridge will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record. The Lakers come into the contest with a 18-5 record after their 75-15 league win over Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage (Yerington, NV).
