The Universal Stars basketball squad (Bridgeview, IL), was nudged 1-0 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Unity Christian Academy Phoenix (South Holland, IL)
With the victory, Unity Christian Academy advances its record to 13-9 on the year. The Phoenix host MCC (Morton Grove, IL) to meet the Crescents in a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 4. The Crescents enter the battle with a record of 8-4. MCC lost 45-36 in their recent non-league battle against Niles North (Skokie, IL)
The Stars now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host College Prep of America for a non-league battle on Monday, February 3. Universal will meet a Thunder squad coming off a 40-18 non-league loss to Walther Christian Academy (Melrose Park, IL). The Thunder record now stands at 5-11.
