The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA) and the host Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA), observed McLean's basketball team knock off Washington-Liberty by a score of 38-27.

The Highlanders (4-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Langley (McLean, VA). The Saxons come into the non-league challenge with a 6-1 record.

In their next game, the Generals battle the George C. Marshall Statesmen (Falls Church, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Washington-Liberty will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The Statesmen come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 44-19 non-league win over Yorktown (Arlington, VA).
