The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Anderson Valley Panthers (Boonville, CA) and the host Round Valley Mustangs (Covelo, CA), observed Anderson Valley's basketball team overwhelm Round Valley by a margin of 56-17.

The Panthers (6-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Grace Christian Academy (Santa Rosa, CA). The Lions come into the challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Grace Christian Academy was trounced by Point Arena (Point Arena, CA), 54-5, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Point Arena Pirates (Point Arena, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Round Valley will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 5-14 record after their 28-25 league loss to Mendocino (Mendocino, CA).
