Virginia High School Basketball - Staunton overwhelms Fort Defiance

The Staunton Storm basketball team scored 48 points and limited the host Fort Defiance Indians to 7 in the Storm non-league triumph on Friday.
The Storm now possess a 15-1 record. They play next when they travel to Broadway for a non-league game on Monday, February 3. Staunton will confront a Gobblers team coming off a 32-15 non-league win over William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA). The Gobblers record now stands at 8-5.
With the loss, Fort Defiance falls to 1-13 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA) to confront the Bison in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. The Bison go into the game with a record of 9-3. Buffalo Gap won 29-18 in their recent non-league game against Alleghany (Covington, VA)
