Virginia High School Basketball - Halifax County crushes George Washington

The Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA) basketball crushed the host George Washington Eagles (Danville, VA), 58-30 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Comets now possess a 11-2 record. They play next when they travel to Liberty for a non-league bout on Monday, February 3. Halifax County will play a Minutemen team coming off a 54-40 non-league win over Brookville (Lynchburg, VA). The Minutemen record now stands at 9-1.
With the loss, George Washington falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Friday, February 7. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 13-3. Magna Vista won 72-8 in their recent non-league bout against Tunstall (Dry Fork, VA)
