The Bastrop Bears soccer squad scored 8 points and held the visiting Navarro Vikings to 0 in the Bears league victory on Friday.
The Bears now hold a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin for a 5A Region 3 District 24 bout on Tuesday, February 4. Bastrop will play a Raptors squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Richards School for Young Women Leaders (Austin, TX). The Raptors record now stands at 4-4.
With the loss, Navarro moves to 0-6 on the year. The Vikings travel to Cedar Creek (Cedar Creek, TX) to play the Eagles in a 5A Region 3 District 24 bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-9. Cedar Creek lost 7-0 in their recent league bout against Anderson (Austin, TX)
