In Friday's league outing, the visiting Castleberry Lions soccer squad scored a tight 5-0 victory over the Collegiate Academy at TCC Northeast Phoenix.

The Lions (2-4) will now prepare for their outing against Lake Worth (Lake Worth, TX). The Bullfrogs go into the 4A Region 1 District 8 outing with a 6-3 record. In their last outing, Lake Worth was overwhelmed by Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX), 4-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Phoenix confront the Eagle Mountain Knights (Fort Worth, TX) in a 4A Region 1 District 8 outing, on Tuesday, February 4. Collegiate Academy at TCC Northeast will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Knights go into the outing with a 0-9 record after their 3-1 league loss to Springtown (Springtown, TX).
