California High School Soccer - Sunnyside nudges McLane

In Friday's league outing, the visiting Sunnyside Wildcats soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the McLane Highlanders.

The Wildcats (9-5) will now prepare for their outing against Hoover (Fresno, CA). The Patriots go into the North Yosemite outing with a 6-8 record. In their last outing, Hoover got by Sanger West (Fresno, CA), 3-0, in a league match.

The Highlanders now sport a 16-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roosevelt for a North Yosemite match on Wednesday, February 5. McLane will meet a Rough Riders team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Fresno (Fresno, CA). The Rough Riders record now stands at 3-14.
