Ohio High School Ice Hockey - Westlake knocks off Aurora

January 31, 2025: Aurora, OH 44202

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Westlake Demons (Westlake, OH) and the host Aurora Greenmen (Aurora, OH), witnessed Westlake's ice hockey team defeat Aurora by a final score of 7-1.

The Demons (19-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Chagrin Falls (Chagrin Falls, OH). The Tigers come into the challenge with a 16-5 record. In their last challenge, Chagrin Falls got by Bay (Bay Village, OH), 7-1, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Greenmen battle the Lakewood Rangers (Lakewood, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, February 2. Aurora will attempt to upgrade on its 4-20 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 15-9 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin (Chardon, OH).
