In Friday's non-league contest, the host Albemarle Patriots basketball team scored a good 65-53 win over the Orange County Fighting Hornets.
The Patriots (15-1) will now prepare for their contest against Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Flying Flucos come into the non-league contest with a 9-5 record.
In their next game, the Fighting Hornets battle the Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Orange County will attempt to better on its 7-8 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 3-5 record after their 33-31 non-league loss to Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA).
