The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA) and the host Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA), observed Auburn's basketball team overwhelm Grayson County by a margin of 35-7.

The Eagles (11-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Highlanders come into the non-league challenge with a 14-2 record. In their last challenge, Glenvar was trounced by Salem (Salem, VA), 61-54, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Blue Devils battle the George Wythe Maroons (Wytheville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, February 5. Grayson County will attempt to better on its 0-12 season record. The Maroons come into the challenge with a 12-0 record after their 70-24 non-league win over Galax (Galax, VA).
