New York High School Basketball - Caledonia-Mumford holds off Avon

The Caledonia-Mumford Raiders basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Avon Braves to 49 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Raiders now possess a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Pavilion for a non-league game on Monday, February 3. Caledonia-Mumford will confront a Golden Gophers team coming off a 52-50 non-league win over Keshequa (Nunda, NY). The Golden Gophers record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, Avon falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Braves travel to University Prep Charter (Bronx, NY) to confront the Gator in a non-league game on Monday, February 3. The Gator go into the game with a record of 1-0.
