With the victory, Bertie advances its record to 11-1 on the year. The Falcons travel to Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC) to meet the Bears in a non-league match on Saturday, February 1. The Bears enter the match with a record of 5-6.

The Red Barons now own a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Perquimans for a non-league match on Monday, February 3. Gates County will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 81-46 non-league loss to North East Carolina Prep (Tarboro, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 6-7.
