The Brunswick Bulldogs basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Sussex Central Tigers to 22 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Surry County for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. Brunswick will confront a Cougars team coming off a 44-29 non-league win over Appomattox Regional Governor's Arts & Tech (Petersburg, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, Sussex Central falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Greensville County (Emporia, VA) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Monday, February 3. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 9-1. Greensville County lost 32-18 in their recent non-league game against Southampton (Courtland, VA)
