The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) and the host South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC), observed Central Cabarrus's basketball team overwhelm South Rowan by a score of 51-30.

The Vikings (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 15-2 record. In their last challenge, Lake Norman Charter trounced Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 70-41, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Raiders encounter the East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. South Rowan will attempt to improve on its 1-13 season record.
