North Carolina High School Basketball - Crest knocks off Huss

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) and the visiting Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC), observed Crest's basketball team overcome Huss by a score of 61-52.

The Chargers (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC). The Greenwave come into the non-league challenge with a 4-10 record. In their last challenge, Ashbrook dropped by Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC), 80-40, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Huskies battle the Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC) in a challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Huss will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Mountaineers come into the challenge with a 12-4 record after their 80-40 league win over Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC).
