Virginia High School Basketball - Western Branch sneaks past Deep Creek

The Western Branch Bruins basketball team scored 63 points and limited the host Deep Creek Hornets to 58 in the Bruins non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bruins now possess a 10-4 record. They play next when they host Warhill for a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. Western Branch will play a Lions team coming off a 53-37 non-league win over York (Yorktown, VA). The Lions record now stands at 9-6.
With the loss, Deep Creek falls to 7-3 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Nansemond River (Suffolk, VA) to play the Warriors in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 8-6. Nansemond River lost 52-45 in their recent non-league game against Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA)
