In Friday's non-league contest, the host New Buffalo Bison basketball team scored a close 54-51 triumph over the Eau Claire Beavers.
The Bison (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Our Lady of the Lake Catholic (St. Joseph, MI). The Lakers go into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record.
In their next game, the Beavers battle the Countryside Academy Cougar (Benton Harbor, MI) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Eau Claire will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record.
