The South County Stallions basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting Fairfax Lions to 42 in the Stallions non-league triumph on Friday.

The Stallions now possess a 8-0 record. They play next when they host West Springfield for a non-league game on Monday, February 3. South County will confront a Spartans team coming off a 73-54 non-league win over Lake Braddock (Burke, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 7-4.

With the loss, Fairfax falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Robinson (Fairfax, VA) to confront the Rams in a non-league game on Monday, February 3. The Rams go into the game with a record of 9-4. Robinson won 48-42 in their recent non-league game against Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA)
