The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA) and the visiting Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA), observed West Springfield's basketball team knock off Lake Braddock by a score of 73-54.
The Spartans (7-4) will now prepare for their challenge against South County (Lorton, VA). The Stallions come into the non-league challenge with a 7-0 record.
In their next game, the Bruins encounter the Woodson Cavaliers (Fairfax, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 3. Lake Braddock will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 9-2 record after their 48-38 league win over West Potomac (Alexandria, VA).
