The Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC) basketball edged the host West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC), 33-31 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 12-3 record. They play next when they travel to Hickory Ridge for a bout on Tuesday, February 4. Lake Norman will play a Ragin' Bulls team coming off a 60-24 non-league win over South Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Ragin' Bulls record now stands at 11-3.
