The Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA) basketball toppled the host William Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA), 48-35 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Cavaliers now possess a 10-6 record. They play next when they host Fleming for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4. Lord Botetourt will play a Colonels team coming off a 44-41 non-league loss to Northside (Roanoke, VA). The Colonels record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, William Byrd falls to 5-13 on the campaign. The Terriers travel to Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 4.
