The McLean Highlanders basketball team scored 81 points and limited the visiting Washington-Liberty Generals to 61 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Friday.

The Highlanders now have a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Herndon for a non-league game on Monday, February 10.

With the loss, Washington-Liberty falls to 2-14 on the campaign. The Generals travel to George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA) to battle the Statesmen in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 4. The Statesmen come into the challenge with a record of 2-11. George C. Marshall lost 58-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Yorktown (Arlington, VA)
