California High School Basketball - Monte Vista Christian routs Watsonville

In Friday's league contest, the host Monte Vista Christian Mustangs basketball team scored a big 59-37 triumph over the Watsonville Wildcatz.

The Mustangs (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against North Monterey County (Castroville, CA). The Condors go into the contest with a 1-10 record. In their last contest, North Monterey County was trounced by Marina (Marina, CA), 54-46, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Wildcatz battle the Marina Mariners (Marina, CA) in a contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Watsonville will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Mariners go into the contest with a 8-9 record after their 51-42 league loss to Stevenson (Pebble Beach, CA).
