California High School Basketball - Verdugo Hills sneaks past Poly

The Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA) basketball edged the host Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA), 50-43 in Friday's league bout.

The Dons now possess a 11-4 record. They play next when they travel to North Hollywood for a bout on Saturday, February 1. Verdugo Hills will play a Huskies team coming off a 66-37 league loss to Grant (Van Nuys, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 5-9.

With the loss, Poly falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Parrots travel to Arleta (Arleta, CA) to play the Mustangs in a bout on Monday, February 3. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 9-10. Arleta lost 76-58 in their recent league bout against Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA)
